Fiona Murphy - Play Therapist

Fiona is an experienced, qualified, and accredited play therapist and psychotherapist/counsellor. She works therapeutically with both children and adults. Her core training is person-centred including a creative, body aware and trauma-informed approach.

Fiona’s experience and training enable her to create a relationship that is warm, supportive, open and non-judgemental and she provides a safe play therapy space. Fiona offers a practical approach in her support of children and parents, and she has particular interests both in the therapeutic relationship with nature and in the area of spirituality.

Fiona has a Post Graduate (PG) Certificate in Play Therapy and a PG Diploma in Play Therapy from the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy (APAC) awarded by the National University Of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). She also has an MA in Counselling among her other academic studies and training. Fiona is an accredited member of Play Therapy Ireland (PTIrl). Fiona offers play therapy sessions on Saturdays only.
